Your first 2-4 lessons, we will walk you through grooming and tacking up - please arrive at time scheduled. Once you are comfortable tacking up on your own, we will ask that you arrive 30min prior to your lesson time to groom and tack up.
Lessons vary every week, some focusing on flatwork and pole work, others focusing on over fences.
We ask that you wear shoes with a 1- 2in heel and pants like jeans, breeches or leggings. We have helmets of all sizes available to use.
If you purchase a lesson package, please note that it is subject to expire within the timeframes below:
4 lessons - 4-8 weeks
6 lessons - 6-10 weeks
8 lessons - 8-12 weeks
12 lessons - 12-16 weeks
Lesson packages are intended for weekly use, ensuring progress with your riding through consistency. They are non-refundable and non-transferable. Extensions will be considered on a case by case basis.
Leasing is not required but talked about depending on your goals, we require every leaser to have at least 1 lesson a week as a check-in.
We ask that you arrive 30min prior to your lesson time to groom and tack up. We require current coggins and vaccinations. You are welcome to use the x-ties in the barn and any supplies. Trailer parking is currently located on the right side of the driveway, that is subject to change as a new parking and turn around area is in progress. Until then, only 2 horse trailers are able to come through due to tight turn around. Horses must be in appropriate health and condition to participate . Horses that are underweight, unwell or have not received vet and farrier care will not be accepted until they healthy. We are here to help and can provide vet, farrier, bodyworker, saddle fitter and nutritionist references upon request.
Riding lessons will be canceled/rescheduled in case of a storm, heavy rain, high winds, lightning, high heat index, snow, ice and extreme cold. If lessons are cancelled you will receive a text message ahead of time and it will also be posted on our Facebook page. On the days the weather is bad, we offer optional in-barn lessons that cover grooming, nutrition, anatomy, first aid basics, leg wraps, tack and equipment.
